The BLAST will adjust their schedule beginning May 4, 2010. The new schedule will only affect Tuesday and Thursday students. The new class times are:

6:00 to 6:45 pm                            Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

7:00 to 7:45 pm         Rm 1       All Levels Muay Thai
.                                    Rm 2      CSW Mixed Martial Arts

8:00 to 8:45 pm                            Team BLAST Conditioning

We have a great opportunity coming up in 2010 to bring new classes to the Kids Programs, including bringing back our E.L.I.T.E. Warriors class.  Also new to the schedule will be the Fall, Spring and Summer sessions which will allow kids to take a break during the summer without missing belt testings.  (more…)

If you just recently joined THE BLAST, you may not be aware of the annual Year End Seminar that Mike puts on just before the academy closes for the holidays.  The seminar is fun, entertaining and extremely beneficial with the goal of demonstrating how all the programs here at The Blast come together and to teach new techniques and/or arts to all attendees.  The theme of this years seminar is “How each program at THE BLAST relates to one another.”  (more…)

Year End Student Testings!!

Members of Team Blast competed in Stateline’s Halloween Havoc MMA show this past Halloween night in Beloit, Wi.  It was a successful night for Team Blast, as we won 2 out of 3 matches.

The upcoming JKD and Kali Seminar with Mike Van Beek has been CANCELED.  We apologize for having to do this, but due to time constraints, Mike will not be able to hold a seminar open to the public.  There will be an instructors seminar that day, so the Muay Thai class will still be CANCELED.  We are very sorry to have to cancel this seminar, however Mike’s year end seminar will be coming up soon and will highlight this training!!

The Blast will be closed Thursday, November 26th through Sunday, November 29th for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends, but be ready to get right back at it on Monday.  Your tests will be coming up quickly in December.
