As most of you know our JKD and Kali Systems come from Paul Vunak’s Progressive Fighting Systems. Paul has always been recognized as a legendary JKD and Kali instructor under the Bruce Lee’s protege’ Dan Inosanto. Paul’s career really kicked off when he was contracted with the Navy SEALS in the late 80′s and early 90′s to teach them his Rapid Assault Tactics.  At that same time, Paul had several proteges’ of his own, one of them by the name of Michael Van Beek of Chicago, IL.  Michael has trained with Paul since the beginning of the organization some 30 years ago and we are very excited to have Michael coming to THE BLAST for a seminar in November. He will cover many areas of JKD, showing techniques ranging from the early years of the PFS system to the current organization and show you where Paul’s system is going in the future!  Expect to train weapons, Rapid Assault Tactics, trapping and clinch and ground grappling with Kina Mutai (Art of Biting and Pinching)
